Pray for Connor McKemey....

Please click on the picture to be redirected to Connor's Caringbridge site. It will detail Sunday night's fire accident at his home. He goes to another local middle school in town, however, my son and he are acqaintances by different circle of friends. Please pray for a Christmas Miracle(s) in all of the surgeries he will undergo. His mom is a teacher at Fort Mill High School and needs her own prayers for her sustained injuries as well. I have no idea where all my blog is read, but it is my sincere hope that you will add this to your prayer lists. Thank you.

Thankful Thursday...

It's been a while since last I took part in a "Thankful Thursday" post, sorry.
  • this stomach bug of mine came, left, came again, and is finally GONE....I shall return to the land of the working tomorrow!
  • Speaking of tomorrow....it will be the last day before Christmas Break!
  • Speaking of "Christmas Break"....I am thankful for being able to say Merry Christmas instead of Season's Greetings, Happy Holidays, or anything else that's Politically Correct and in-use at the department strores these days.
  • Speaking of department stores....I am thankful for their extended holiday hours!!
  • a team of sweet friends that love teaching 5th graders as much as I do
  • warm 70* weather this week, yummy!! I hope my mistletoe doesn't wilt.
  • CHRISTMAS CARDS!! I just love them. I enjoy going to the mailbox to see new ones arrive each day. I love the faces of the families and friends that smile back at me on the photos enclosed. My kitchen windows frame each and every one of them. So if you haven't sent yours....there's still time!!

Xan's Christmas Cheer Camp Videos

My little one went to a cheercamp yesterday, which allowed me to have 6 hours of cleaning and chorework completion time (i.e hanging a new light fixture, wrapping presents, food prep for a Christmas party last night, hanging 100 vinyls polka-dots on Xannie's walls, etc....)

Anywho....this is what we got in return, enjoy! It starts out blurry, just give it a sec.
